<p>How safe does it feel on campus? I just heard this on the news last night. My d. is applying.</p>
<p>Our D is a Freshman at Webster. The campus seems very safe to me. So did St. Louis for that matter. I believe there is one area (East St. Louis) that probably causes that statistic to be high.</p>
<p>We were very impressed with campus security and the community of Webster Groves is a lot like a Norman Rockwell painting. THe campus looks like Disney's Fantasyland meets Hogwarts. </p>
<p>I hope you get a chance to visit, I think you'll feel better.</p>
<p>Not to worry LocoMom...Marianne is right. Webster resides in a very safe community. Webster Groves is home to Mary Englebreit!! :) My Ss and their friends often take excursions to the arch and other places such as the malls, museums, movies...all without incident.</p>
