Hi,
Anyone here done their interview for St Paul and have any advice?
And by the way, will parents need to be there? (They didn’t send an email to the parents but just to be sure.)
@babysnoopy I interviewed at SPS about a month ago. Like at any interview, be yourself, make eye contact, and research the school beforehand! Think of it as an enjoyable conversation rather than a stressful interview.
They will ask why you want to attend, so be prepared with an answer for that. I’d also suggest coming up with questions tailored to your interests. For example, if you’re interested in joining the SPS’ ballet company, ask about the performance opportunities that are offered.
In general, schools will ask to speak with your parent after they’ve spoken with you - SPS included.
Good luck!
I interviewed at St. Paul’s in November. My interviewer was the Director of Multicultural Enrollment if I’m not mistaken. My advice is to stay calm be prepared. Write down a list of questions of a piece of paper. Make sure to have some talking points that you want to tell the admissions officer, but don’t make it seem rehearsed. A parent is required to be there too. Good luck!
