Stamps Scholarship interview insight

My D is a semifinalist for Stamps and has her interview after the holidays. Unfortunately it is an asynchronous interview this year due to covid, which IMO, makes it so much more difficult. While my D is used to conversing with adults and authority figures and is comfortable with public speaking, not being able to “read the audience” or even have a bit of interaction is stressing her out!

While I know this year’s process is different, I’m hoping for some insight from others who have been through this so I can help prepare my D. She met with her GC yesterday for some tips and she will practice by recording herself. It would help if I could give her some examples of questions that could possibly be asked. I’m assuming they will want to know about her leadership and service and how she would apply that at their institution? Perhaps how she would take advantage of the Stamps opportunities? :woman_shrugging:

The interview process will be different at every Stamp partnership school. Plus a Stamps is a two-step process. First you interview with the school and if they recommend you, you interview with the Stamps organization. My DD won 2 Stamps. PM if you don’t want to share the details here.

Thank you! I will DM you. This is the first interview (school). If she makes it past that stage we will have more questions, I’m sure!
