You think I will get accepted? or will I get a deferral? or could that b- get me rejected?
Thanks for the feedback!

I’m in the same exact position as you. I took the exact same kelley reqs and got a b- in k201 as well. However I have a 3.43, and you have a 3.6-3.7. The fact that you have a 3.8 I think pretty much locks up your admission into kelley. That you have EC’s, I was involved in Mcnutt Judicial Board, and was told by the Kelley advisor that they take that into consideration. So in conclusion you should have no problem getting in. Just out of curiosity what was your cumulative gpa at the end of freshmen year?, and how many credits did you finish with in total freshmen year?

Is BusK 201 that difficult of a course?

K201 is the easiest 200 level course that kelley offers as a pre-req and everyone has to take one second level course to get into kelley as a standard admit, however it will require a significant amount of effort, more effort then any of your other classes, unless you took A201 . So ya, K201 is hard, but is probably the best option for a pre-req out of the other 200 level classes offered.

IUHoosier123 thanks for the info. Is the honors version any better?

From what I have heard it is much less busy work and more enriching. Like they start with excel first, which is easier then Access, and if your team team wins the big project they assign then you don’t have to take the Access final. So ya, it has a higher grade distribution, and is better set up for the success of the student then trying to weed them out for Kelley. With that being said though realize it’s a class full of honors students, and this is part of the reason why the grade distribution is high. So the choice eventually falls to you. Easier work with lots and lots of it, or hard work with less of it?
