Just curious - were you a part of the Edison Engineering Development Program?

Is it possible? Sure. What are your chances? We’ve got no idea. Grad school admissions in the U.S. are about a lot more besides GPA and GRE scores. The best way to find out, unfortunately, is just to apply and see what happens.

No offense, but how did you get a 6.0 on AWA?

Something in the neighborhood if 1 in 100 do it. Given the sheer number who take the test, that is not a small total. I got a 6.0 when I took it, but I am not a grader for the test and cannot comment on why some get a 6.0 and some don’t.

I was wondering because from the OP, he doesn’t seem to be a native speaker nor does he have proper grammar and correct sentence structure. Hard to believe someone with those qualities can get a 6.0, but this is an internet forum where proper grammar and sentence formation are irrelevant at times.

While it is true that the OP likely paid a lot more attention to their writing on the exam than they do here, it is also true that the AWA section has been the most criticized for the frequency with which sub-par essays are given exceptional scores, and vice versa. Don’t read too much into the score - no one else does.
