Ok, one school that I am applying to (NYU) has a different standardized test score procedure, and so I have quite a dilemma. Here it goes (and thanks for your help).

Yet, if I send those in I also have to send in my two AP scores which are:
5- English Language and 3- US History

(the 3 scares me)

They however, also 'superscore' the ACT, so those scores would be:

Reading: 35
English: 31
Math: 30 (only one from separate date)
Science: 31
The new composite would be: 32

Thanks everyone for your help beforehand. I just do not want my good SAT scores to go overlooked, also do you think I could just send in both SAT and ACT? The ACT alone would satisfy there requirement and the SAT could just be used to help.

Sorry, that’s the first I’ve heard of a school asking for official AP scores during application, thanks for the correction.

I agree that the 3 is problematic, while passing, it’s not great. Since your ACT is pretty comparable to your SAT (32=1400-1430), it’s a borderline situation. I personally would just go with the ACT, but it’s a tough call.

I agree that the ACT is probably the better choice. If you had an AP score from a science or math class I might choose that combination, but the ACT gives you a chance to show off good math and science scores, plus a great reading score.
