Stanford '20

Hello All! I am currently a freshman at a community college in California and I wanted to know everything and anything I can do to achieve my dream of getting into Stanford. Although it may sound delusion, I do not believe it is too far from my reach, but I’m not sure of what applicational tactics to take. I’ve been told a plethora of different strategies from both admissions officers and admitted students. This can be from being a jack of all trades or a specialist. I am currently considering the specialist route of following strict criteria of major-related courses and jobs/internships pertaining to my potential job. Moreover, how should I approach this process?

I have also seen that people post their statistics, so I’ll do the same for sort of comparison.

High School:
GPA: 4.5
SAT + ACT: 1420 (1600) (7/8/7) & 31 (11)
Rank: appx. 20
ECs: President of Robotics, Co-President of Scioly, CSF, Interact, Var. T&F, eSports, + part-time job
Course Rigor: 14 APs
College(s): CSULB, CSUF, CPP, UCR, UCSD, UCI, UCSB
Rejected/Waitlisted: UCB (waitlisted), UCLA

Considering it’s my first semester at college, I don’t really have any notable experiences, but I am taking 17 units on semester system.

I apologize for any grammatical/spelling errors I had made in the post, I didn’t proofread lol.
