Hey, I participated in the Yale early action decision thread (deferred unfortunately).
Looking at the Yale RD thread, I think it'd be quite burdensome if everyone was to post their member names AND all their stats. 1) it would be hard to make into a list and 2) it'd be a pretty long list in no time.

So how about we put names first and then post our stats later when the decisions come out?
If someone is actually keeping track of all the data on a spreadsheet, I'll follow the format suggested above. if not, I'll just put my username.

Seriously, though, getting rejected isn't the end of the world, and it certainly didn't feel that way for me. So don't worry about it!

I expect to get rejected, unless a miracle happens, so why not?

*Provincial-level swimmer? (not good enough for being an athlete - useless)

*Founder of Varsity Swim Team? Tons of Swimming awards? (again, not good enough - useless)
*Grew up in the traditional countryside of Taiwan? (so what... tons of people grew up in the countryside - useless)
*Wish to major in international and rural development/STS? (a lot of people do this - useless)
*Immigrated to Canada 4.5 years ago? (a lot of people are immigrants in British Columbia - useless)
*TOEFL 115/120? (I see people with 118 and 120 - useless)
*Creative "Why Stanford" essay - about making a snowman... (=.=|||)? (a lot of people's essays are creative - useless)
*Not applying for financial aid? (so are 900 others - useless)
* Long list of piano awards and a non-profit program to promote music awareness among children in poverty (missed the supplemental CD deadline, and not national level - useless)

Sum = Rejection. I am not going to give myself too much expectation and disappoint. My SAT scores are too low, and a genius at my school with 2300+ with tons, tons, tons of activities and research applied (for FA though); I probably have very little chance. I only have youth leader, swimming and piano.
