haha that’s hilarious!!! I don’t know if I feel better or worse that we all find this topic as such… mortifyingly hilarious haha.

i doubt it will be any of us that are the sour grapes, im betting it will be those kids who’s first CC post is on decision day, to whine about their decision…

I’m actually glad decisions aren’t coming Friday. It’s CIF finals for my school’s football team, possibly the first win EVER in championchips? and it would totally kill my spirits if…er…I can’t use the R word here…but yeah.

and, I could never get mad at anyone I’ve never seen face to face before. That’s just immature and shows the reason they should be rejected. I PLEDGE ON MY HONOR…NOT TO WHINE ABOUT MY DECISION.

I like your comparison to sour grapes. xD

aparently my and diivio’s High School’s football team was ranked 11 in the nation like 2 years ago.

another school in our district, capital is ranked pretty high in the top 100 this year as well…

I can’t see any fights breaking out in the decision thread. Unless Prussia doesn’t get in. I think everyone would flip out a little bit. :P

My school’s football team doesn’t do very well.
I mean, we lost to the local school of the deaf and blind.
Twice.

If prussia doesn’t get in, the world is going to end.

Aw, thanks Starmie
And diglett <3

Well I’m anal and when I see them all together it yells unorganized to me… so that’s why I mentioned it… Also, because when I look through the decisions from last year I looked for all the accepted students first, then I looked at the rejected (don’t tell me you didn’t). That way I could easily see that Stanford is a total shot in the dark hahaha. I’m just saying that when people are trying to come up with a strategy and comparing themselves to those who have already been through it (don’t lie… that’s why we all even look at decision threads) it’s nice to be able to make mental notes of stats that were accepted and those that weren’t when you can see them all separately. I’m not suggesting it because I want to separate the PEOPLE who get accepted or not… it’s nothing personal, just an easier way to process A LOT of info.

we have 5 NFL players sons on our football team, one of them is Barry Sanders Junior. We are always pretty good.

Don’t worry, whoaness, we (well, I) knew what you meant. I think it’s a logical and ordered choice, I just think it might not go too well through the human component of the equation.

How many people do you think will end up posting their decisions?

@whoa: well firstly we want to minimize confusion, and no matter how plainly we put two different threads, people will misunderstand/intentionally misunderstand whats going on, and its really not THAT bad to dig through decisions for those who were Accepted/Rejected/Waitlisted/Deferred…

and even if its not ment to be personal, i think many people would still take it personally, i think its a good gesture to mix accepted and rejected’s rather then put the accepteds on an unintentional pedistal, i mean we are all equal peers despite the decisions and again, even if decision segregation isnt the intent behind splitting up the threads, some people might take it the wrong way…

I think people who got accepted, the ones who pledged, and people who have the balls to post that they didn’t get it.

Hopefully at least 41, according to the pledge thread, haha.
I’m not sure, of course, but it seems to me there’s always a big turnout on the decisions threads. I wouldn’t be surprised if it goes north of 60, but I might be stretching it, who knows…

If I’m accepted, I’ll be keeping an excel spreadsheet to get some CC statistics on different stats for everyone.
I’d like to say I’d do it if rejected, too, but I just don’t know if I’ll have the heart.

How many people posted decisions last year? And for that matter how many people are on this thread?

probably somewhere between 2 and 391237 people…

just a guess though

I don’t think anyone will blame you

wow, 250 posts today…
