Stanford 2014 SCEAers

Like sfg2014 said earlier, I have wanted to go to Stanford for so long and it all comes down to 12/15. Ahhh!!! Who else is freaking out?

good luck EVERYBODY who reads this no matter where you’re applying <3
I don’t feel like sleeping yet D; but goodnights anyways

I’m kind of freaking out. Sort of. Ish.
vvvv my school colors are red and white. so, I’m all ready for this school :3

Haha you guys are so funny.

LOL @ the other EDs/ EAs wishing us luck. Good luck you guys!

Personally my favourite colour is blue (Yale) and brown (Brown).

Isnt that weird? I could get used to red and white though ;)

Alright thanks guys. I think I’m one of the few people I know who doesn’t have Gmail. I don’t even have a working iPod. I’ll be using my mom’s work computer to check- oh, I’m so deprived! :P

Let’s try it… 10k+

COME ON!!!

as of dec 2nd, stanford is sticking to their 15th dec “sometime” after 3 pm PST for ea decisions.
damn.
:@

My school colour is quite literally Yale blue. We got pennants today at a graduation ceremony kind of thing, and I swear if you don’t look at the words they look like Yale pennants.

Don’t stone me, people.

@whoaness: sorry took long to respond. but im from mumbai, so i started a go green campaign to make eco-friendly lord ganesh idols for the ganesh festival, the regular idols pollute the water bodies; so i ended up with a newspaper article about it, and a reco letter from the mayor of my city.

HELLO FROM THE YALE BOARD!!! I’m actually a Yale RDer and not applying to Stanford but I hang out in the Yale SCEA thread a lot and I think it’s lovely that you guys have come round to say good luck to possible future Yalies.

I have a friend who went to Stanford and he had the best time everrrr, and from what I’ve seen in pictures it’s GORGEOUS there. So when you all get in you’re going to have an amazing time :D

Best of luck to you all <3

^^

Thanks dude. G’luck to you too.

I had my first rejection nightmare last night haha.

loving the inter-college love. Thanks! Btw is anyone else freaked out that the Dartmouth EDers have their results?

And to answer a past question, I think the best part of my app was my personal statement. I wrote about growing up gay in a Muslim country.

How the heck are we supposed to choose courses? I’m just laying out a schedule to get an idea - and to have fun, since this is all last year’s stuff - but there are SO MANY CHOICES. Everything sounds interesting (well, except for the engineering and math requirements).

Six days everyone!!!

More like 5 days 8 hours 47 minutes, baby!!

True dat prussia. i’m officially freaking out…

:O
I think I’m getting sick. I DON’T WANT TO GET SICK.

This is getting pretty hectic. I have a feeling we’ll all be at each other’s throats by Tuesday.

I don’t think so, really. Our community seems very good-natured and closely bonded. Maybe I’d just be speaking for myself, but I now feel strongly about not only my own decision, but several others’ here. I wish everyone the best, and though I’d be sad about rejection, I’d still be happy for my REA buddies who were accepted. (Though obviously that joy would be profoundly buried under disappointment for myself, haha… But, still, it’d be there! I won’t be bitter/angry/jealous/etc)

I won’t be surprised if newcomer REAers show up with more hostility, though.

Yeah. I was just joking because of how freaked out we’re getting. There are definitely quite a few people here for whom I would be disappointed if they got [word I cannot type here], no matter what happens to me.

The new people, however, may have a completely different perspective.
