My aunt used to have a five-foot long iguana. It was funky.

My favorite animal is MANATEES.

Haha naw, I dunno what my favorite animal is.
Probably Pembroke Welsh Corgis. It is my life aspiration to own one.

do we have a new facebook group going or are we scrapping that?

btw our “Post goal” for today should be 1030 posts…

thats 150/day, which should catch us up

I kind of like the anonymity of CC, so I don’t think I will be joining the facebook group. Please don’t leave CC and start having your conversations on facebook!

I’m not worried that any of you guys are creepers, it’s just that I like to only have the information you guys write on here, instead of all of facebook to learn about you guys.

Yeah but we should make our posts count and not post meaninglessly like a post like this which really serves no purpose other than to add one more post.

haha you dont have to worry about it…

facebook wont allow it

even if it did work out, we’d keep the convo here

I totally understand what you mean Anonymous. Although I probably should have picked a better pseudonym. But I still an safely assume that you guys don’t know me right? (Not that i don’t trust you guys…)

Yeah, I mean I guess it wouldn’t matter if you guys could access my facebook. I don’t think there’s anything embarrassing on it. Though now I’m worried.

Do you guys think that the adcom reads CC?

Oh, and honestly, I think that based on the information that we all have about each other (gender/ethnicity/why we chose our names/what state we live in/music), we could probably facebook creep until we found each other.

So, Diivio, I don’t know who you are, though if I wanted to, I could probably figure it out.

I want member status. I’m tired of being a junior member! I’m a big kid now!

PS: that was a play on that diaper commercial. I wonder if explaining myself weakens the joke.

Did you guys know you can read a bunch of accepted Stanford supplement essays if you go to the facebook groups for class of 13 and 12?
I think this year’s accepted should continue that tradition.

How many of you guys ordered Stanford’s viewbook?
I’ve looked through it online, but it only just occurred to me to order a physical one. They’re only sent out until mid-December, so if you want one, hurry up!
(Of course, I’m a slowbutt, so everyone else probably already has theirs, ha.)

And lastly: anyone else love Stephen Colbert?

I hope the addcomms don’t read CC, have I said anything stupid? I swear I’m an diligent hardworking individual. It’s not my fault I like to have some fun! Don’t judge me addcomm!

To Prussia: Colbert is funny, I agree.

Score! Just found out that I can re-use the essay I wrote for National Merit as my Princeton Essay. YES! Now I just have to tell them about my last two summers, and I am done!

On to CMC.

Grr, National Merit. I was two points under the cutoff.
My fault, though. I went into the test cold and not caring about it at all.

I got commended, but whatever haha.

hey prussia, would you mind posting that facebook essay link? thanks for all your help. :)

Wow what Anonymous said has really started for freak me out since I saw a CNN thing on that just yesterday. But I don’t really have anything online about me except for this CC thing, so I guess I should be ok. This only strengthens my opinion to never get a facebook or myspace, or any kind of social networking thing. I might be paranoid but better safe than sorry.

Here’s the intellectual vitality essays for class of 2012:

[intellectual vitality… | Facebook](http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=12839352343&topic=9571)

I’m having trouble finding the others, strangely. I know they exist, because I read them myself… Unless someone deleted them? Doubt it. I’ll keep looking, and if I find them, I’ll post them.

Oh, durr, here’s the 2012 roommate essays, too:

http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=12839352343&topic=9571#/topic.php?uid=12839352343&topic=8876

I’ll keep my eye out for the 2013 group; can’t seem to find it again.

Wow that was personal and had a lot of voice. the Intellectual vitality one.

I give up. I dunno what happened to 2013’s essays; I remember reading them!
Can’t find them anymore, oh well.

Yeah, some of them are really interesting!
