Stanford 2014 SCEAers

wow Anon…Congrats!

BTW: did you copy paste or actually type those OMGs, I’m curious

my parents didn’t even hand me a credit card…i used a fee waiver lol

Hmm, I agree on the DL thing, but I think a competition is more fun. But I don’t want to lose, so DL is better.

speaking of halo…

anyone else read the Halo books?

and then find themselves suprised that they liked them?

We’ll tell up after we catch up, or have a 100 post head start lol.

My experience mirrors Prussia’s exactly. Apparently my parents trust me, because they never hassle me at all about things like homework, college apps, or curfews. In fact, my dad told me flat-out a year ago that he thought I was smarter than him and that I shouldn’t need his help for much of anything.

Lol I’ve never played Halo or read the books. Actually the only M rated video game I think I’ve ever played is Assassin’s Creed 2, only because the world looked really big and adventurous. Turned out being a little more brutal that I thought.

I’ve never actually played Halo, which is pretty shameful.

^There’s a first time for everything!

one of the few good 360 games ive missed : (

one was pretty good though, at least for the first couple of missions

I’ve never played Halo. Even when I was more into video games, I was a staunch Nintendo kid. I don’t much enjoy first-person shooters, anyway. Oh, but I did play it a water polo team party once. I vaguely remember dying again and again until I found the only vehicle on the level and started slaughtering everyone.

OMG you’ve all NEVER played HALO !!@!#!@$#!#@$!@#$!@#!@~!!!@!!!#!!@#@!!!

not that im actually any where near that suprised but i just felt like facerolling on the keyboard

believe the hype (at least for multiplayer)

I dont care how stigmaed it is espically among “hardcore” gamers, Halo 3 is the best/most completely put together game i’ve ever played in my life.

yes i we halo fans realize its not origional, get over it!

I hope there’s someone else here that has never played video games.
Because I never found them entertaining. Maybe because I doubt I would be good at them.

i’ve never played video games either…at least i can’t remember if i have :/

I actually used to be really into video games. I had a 360, Wii, PSP, DS, PS2, GC… Never a PS3, though; too expensive. Anyway, I sold everything over the summer because my only computer broke and I needed a new one.
Laptop I bought is super-awesome-custom-configured, though. I can play the latest PC games, at least. (Except I can’t afford to buy them, oh me.)

not many games allow you to die by traffic cone :P

Sorry Nitro, CSS is where it’s at. :)

Anon, the idea isn’t necessarily to be good at them. It’s to have fun.

I still play a little Pokemon, Elite Beat Agents, or New Super Mario Bros. here and there. I just don’t have the patience to sit in front of a TV for hours, solely engaged in this one activity.

im not going to lie, its alot more fun when you are good

nintendo party games work though if you want to just jump in and have fun

i do agree with “thats not the point of them” though, but it does help…

I loved Okami!! It was so cute.
Yeah, PS2 game, but relatively recent for PS2 games.

I loved the Katamari games.

Resident Evil 4 was my favorite Wii game.

But my all-time favorite series was Silent Hill… For the first three games, at least. Then it got passed to new developers, sigh.
