Don’t blame me, I didn’t come up with it… I thought it was common knowledge. Haha. Yeah it is immature, I wouldn’t have brought it up if it wasn’t an immaturity-off.

I found out because my sister was lamenting to me what (Zodiac) cancer’s symbol looks like sideways (a 69), as she was giving me a cancer necklace, and I didn’t know what she was talking about.

no it doesn’t mean you don’t get financial aid and you can still send it. i took this from stanford’s website…

"If you have missed the priority filing date for your aid application, you may still apply for financial aid. You should complete all filing requirements as soon as possible. Please keep the following in mind:

Your award letter may not be ready until after the standard notification dates;

The student responsibility portion of your award may be higher than the standard amount;

Certain types of financial aid may no longer be available by the time your application is processed."

They initially sort by region, but they go through multiple rounds of screening, so you do eventually get compared with all applicants across the US/world.

I rode bus 69 in third grade. I knew what it meant. Maybe that’s early, but that’s definitely the kind of giggly topic that gets passed around in middle school.

Hmmm, I think they organize by school, then school district, then region, so the person who reviews your application is the same person who reviews the applications of other applicants so your region.

So I guess it’s technically done by school, but like Nitro Hawk said, that’s not practical.

man i wish my parents would have filled the form out so that would have been one less thing for me to worry about…but they wouldn’t know what to do lol they aren’t american and they don’t really understand these kind of things and so i’m always doing stuff like this by myself…which is kinda cool because i think some parents have way too much control over their children’s college apps anyways

The only role my parents played was in handing me a credit card, haha.

Well, alright, they did fill out the financial aid stuff. But I had to nag them for two weeks before they filled it out at 11:30 PM the due date, haha.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG. I don’t think you guys understand how important that time is to me. On 11/11/09 at 11:11 I demanded that my teacher let me use my phone so that I could see exactly when it changed to 11:11, and then I stopped class so that we could make a wish.
