@fainfolly @shooting4themoon Apart from unhealthy I also think its unreasonable. As of right now they say admissions won’t be released until May 15th. Unless they change the date to something else (like they always usually do) they will announce it. You won’t randomly have an acceptance/rejection lol
@FerPhys – that’s just another reason to check. I also look for announcements and updates.

Hey guys, I’m a legacy applicant and my parent received a letter today from Stanford… Attached was an info page that says “Admission decisions will be released to applicants after 4pm (Pacific Time) May 6, 2016.” It also says that admission letters/packets will be mailed on May 12th. Not sure why this differs from the date listed online but I’m definitely not complaining 
They may also announce on their Facebook page the day of. That’s what they did for Regular Decision.
@gingie no way??? Any way we can get some proof of that? I can’t find that info anywhere on their page!

Woah! admissions decisions to be released may 6th at 4pm?! That’s pretty weird though, how the decision will be emailed to you and not available on the website. I guess we just wait and see what happens lol

So I called the admission office, and the man I spoke to said that the date is linked here:
http://admission.stanford.edu/application/deadlines/
He said it will be no later than May 15th, and that the decision will be e-mailed so we won’t have to “log in” to give us an easier time.
Also, he said the admission office still have yet to confirm which date, so it won’t necessarily be on May 6th…

In other words, keep expecting the 15th. lol
If it comes earlier it’ll be a relieving surprise!

I might celebrate by going skydiving. A friend of mine is organizing a skydiving trip, but I’m anticipating how much I’ll have to save for moving, getting married, etc., so I haven’t bought my slot yet. I’ve always wanted to go.
