Hey guys, i'm new at cc and was wondering if my stats are good enough for Stanford, UC Davis, UCSB, UC Berkeley, Cal Poly SLO, AND Duke
GPA UW- 3.8 (Screwed up freshman year with a 2.83) weighted: 4.5
also mentioned freshman year in my essay
SAT: 2200 ACT: 35
*took 8 AP classes with three 4's and four 5's</p>

<p>General EC's:
-Volunteer at senior nursing home for 3 years, and was fortunate enough to have a few articles written about me and was on the local newspaper
-Volunteered in Nicaragua for community service
-President of UNICEF club, started a chapter
-President and founder of App Club
-President and founder of Performing Arts Club
-Key Club, Model UN, Quiz Bowl, CSF
-created a few apps and am very passionate about this
-Creative writing competitions I LOVE to write stories, many awards, also wrote about apps</p>

-Intern at FlipBoard
-AppAwards 2014 by Microsoft
-applied for some other summer programs regarding software engineering/coding
-Creative writing competitions</p>

<p>I'm so passionate about creating apps, and developing apps, it's literally my dream to create one amazing social networking app or anything regarding a software, i want to be the CEO of the biggest company in the world. I know this sounds extremely cheesy but i am so willing to devote ALL my time into this and i think I CAN DO IT.</p>

<p>Your ECs are cliched but your internships are great! Your scores are fine too.</p>

<p>If you write great essays, I think that you will have a great chance of getting in. Also, if Stanford is your first choice, apply REA over there</p>

<p>@khantimmy17‌ by cliched I mean that they are nothing new. They are the same old ECs that you may probably see on almost every applicants list.</p>
