Well, if you can think of anything else to add, feel free to tell me.

My sister is at Stanford at the moment.

My collge choices: (from first choice on)

Stanford
Harvard
Columbia
Yale
CAL
UCLA

Also, I have a question. Private schools still require three SAT Subject tests, correct? If I take Math IC, will that count? That test is an easy 700+ score so I'm considering it. AND, is SAT Lit easy?

I'm no good with chances, but I will say that your leadership positions and ECs are pretty good. And if you're in calc BC, I'd say take Math IIC, you'll score higher.

have you copied my list?? :)))

but why not UCB?

I'm pritty sure that you can't take 1c when you've already taken 2c:( on the other hand, you should try literature, cause i really didn't find it that hard( got 780 )and I'm an international, so, for you, it's an easy 750+ surely.

zorgy69:

UCB/UCLA: Match

I just don't see Stanford or a top ivy. Weak scores and no hook. Don't know about UC schools.

I think you have only one real "target" school, which is Columbia. If you love stanford I would look at schools similar (laid back, good campus environment, tight community), I recommend Dartmouth and Brown. As is there is a strong likelihood you could end up at Cal.

Does the fact that my sister attends Stanford affect my chances?

Yes that will help you a little

You need to raise your test scores or your chances will be very average, despite being val.

You can't take Math 1C and have it count along with Math IIC. For chances at Stanford, you're going to need more than test scores and grades, especially if your SAT score isn't so high.

You basically have no slight reaches/ matches except for Columbia. I would look around a little more, as is way to few schools on your list. Even the choice of a schoo like Brown, Penn, or Dartmouth whether you go or not will be nice to have.
