I Might Stand a Chance

Since I'm new here, I don't know how to approach this:

Well, if you can think of anything else to add, feel free to tell me.

My sister is finishing up her freshman year at Stanford at the moment.

My collge choices: (from first choice on)

Stanford
Harvard
Columbia
Yale
CAL
UCLA

I'm really interested in: Bio/Chem or anything to do with computers.

Also, I have a question. Private schools still require three SAT Subject tests, correct? If I take Math IC, will that count? That test is an easy 700+ score so I'm considering it.

dood please. ur stats are awesome... but safties man...

zorgy69:

Assuming you are a California resident,

Stanford: Slight Reach
UCLA: Match
UCB: Match

Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and Stanford are big reaches for anyone. Your SATs will need to come up 200 points. Everything else looks great. Yes, Math IC counts as another SAT II.

1C doesn't count for UC

and hmm for IVY, your SAT is hindering your chances

"Stanford: slight reach"

I don't think Stanford is a slight reach for anyone

I say Stanford is a slight reach for just about everyone......it's hard! Joe, is that u? Stanford 2004? The UVA kinda gave it away....it's hairfrk

Okay, then.

bump, new sat scores came in today, I got:

CR- 690
Math- 710
Writing- 770 (essay-12, MC- 74)

meaning 2170.
