Rank: more than 5% I would assume out of 700

<p>My friend applied Restrictive to Stanford (hence the title) and applying to other schools: Dartmouth, U of Chic, Notre Dame, NYU, Georgetown, Duke, Columbia, and Princeton. How does my friend look and you can be honest cause whatever you say to my friend makes me feel better lol. But seriously, how fit does my friend look, like how competitive would you think or rate him?</p>

<p>One quick thing, being poor helps an applicant at Stanford or not?

<p>Nah, he goes to Tualitin, might as well be Westview, basically the same stuff.</p>

<p>Same chance as just about anybody. It's a reach for basically all applicants.
His GPA and SAT scores are a bit on the low side, but his essays could conceivably help out with that.</p>
