<p>Hey guys. I will be submitting a Piano Arts supplement with my application. One of the requirements is submitting a letter of recommendation for a music teacher, however, I am entirely self taught, and thus, have never had a music teacher. What do I do?</p>
<p>How about writing it yourself? As your own teacher? If you are genuine, it would certainly be unusual and you would really stand out. I’m sure you’re thinking “too risky” but Stanford seems to like kids taking risks. Just an idea. </p>
