<p>Does anyone know if you can reapply to Stanford as a freshman applicant if you’re taking a gap year? Their FAQ says you’re limited to 3 applications to Stanford: freshman, transfer, or a combo of the two, which is unclear.</p>

<p>to my fellow rejectees, when i visited Stanford a couple months ago, i was told that they would be admitting fewer students than ever this year. it was really tough competition, so just keep that in mind.</p>
