***Stanford Class of 2019 Applicant Discussion***

Does anyone know if the decision will be in the email or if we have to check their website/link?

Anyone know if the decision will be in the email or if we have to check their website/link they give us?

Assuming they don’t change anything, it will be right in the email.

In the email you supplied for the common app.

Is it Friday at 3:00 PST, or is it possibly earlier; Last year they said 3:00 PST, yet people posted on College Conf. that day around 10:00 am with their decisions

@outtocollege2015 wait, seriously?!

Well crud. Here’s to being on my phone 24/7 on Friday and being yelled at by teachers

Wow, 10 am! I’d be a wreck if I had to get the email in the middle of the school day! @outtocollege2015‌ , do you know if they got accepted?

10 AM PST? Regardless, that’s a lot earlier than 3 PM PST.

According to last year REA thread, the first person posted at 1 pm EST or around 11 am PST. We’ll see how things turn out this year. So nervous.

Tomorrow is our last day of semi-sanity

Luckily I’ll be taking one of my four tests on Friday if the email comes during the school day…

Officially, it is 3 PM PST on the 12th.

Of course, there have been reports of applicants who did not receive their decision on the posted date and had to wait for the next Monday. Hopefully that’s not me (nor any of you guys)!

@imagineer10‌ This, right now, is semi sanity?!
I was pretty sure I’d been full time insane all week, but if that was just the start… :(

@mtnclimber Friday will be the worst I think :(

Just typed up the decision report to post on Friday. All that’s left to do is delete the two decisions that I don’t receive…

@OrangeLand‌ Oh yeah, of that I have no doubt. I highly considered calling myself out of school to avoid the questions but realized I need the distraction slightly more than I need the solitude. Friday will be a mess of anxiety. :-S

So the emails don’t generally all come out at 3pm?

For me, Friday could be a lot worse than I think it’ll end up being. It turns out that my family and 90% of the people who know I applied to Stanford have no idea that decisions come in on Friday… they all think it’s Monday still XD The only person who knows it’s Friday is my best friend. So at least I’ll have the weekend to wallow in self-pity before people start asking me about my rejection

Nothing like trying write my Theory of Knowledge paper while stressing about Friday. :-S

@tonprince Nope. The official time they start sending them out is 3 pm, but there are so many emails to send out that some people don’t get them til hours later, and others don’t even receive it til Saturday or Sunday. And apparently they also send some around 10 or 11 am PST, too… I recommend to just keep checking email obsessively all day Friday
