@Ninopedia Good luck! I hope you get in!

I should be studying for my organic chemistry test next hour, but instead I’m freaking out about tomorrow. I need help.

How is everyone holding up? I personally could not sleep last night, so who knows how tonight will go. I decided to go see a movie at 3 so that I will not be constantly checking my email. It actually makes it less nerve wracking, but insomnia is still present.

Well, I had yet another dream of getting accepted last night. It was so real. I was on my iPhone email and I saw “Stanford Admission Decision” and everything. Just about 29 hours left!

I’m doing decently. I’ve decided to lock myself up in a library all morning to cram for a final and then go ice skating with some friends until 5 pm my time.

I want to go ice skating! I think I am going to do that soon

Does anyone know if for Art Supplements, do the Admissions Office also look at the art resumes you’ve turned in? I requested a live audition for music and I know for sure the music department is looking at it but will the admissions office look at it too? I forgot to put in my resume for the addition info section on common app since I thought I already turned in my resume to music department so there will be no need to put in common app. Now I iust realized the admission office might not even see it?

I think the admission office still sees it as well because all the departments probably share students’ resume with each other, it wouldnt make sense if they do the process separately

@tungson96 oh thank god then

@tungson96 ok good! Cause I didn’t put my art resume on the common app either

Ditto on insomnia-- I have horrid sleeping patterns usually, but it’s been pretty darn bad the last few days

@detwylder Me too, I justified going to bed super late and waking up super early today with the hope that I’d be exhausted enough at the end of the day that I’d get a good night’s sleep…
I feel more energetic than I have all week. Major backfire.
At the very least I have climbing practice tonight… maybe that can make me tired? (Ha. Fat chance) :-S

Good luck everyone!

GUYS APPARENTLY SOME PEOPLE ALREADY GOT THEIR ACCEPTANCE/REJECTION LETTERS
ITS ON THE FACEBOOK APPLICANT GROUP
IS THIS REAL OR…?

sorry for the caps lock lol, I’m freaking out

I

I don’t think this is real. Those two who posted sth like that are friends on Facebook, and they comment on each other’s Facebook regularly. I think they’re just trying to prank us all.

I would ignore that group. An immature group of UChicago students think they are being hilarious. I just left the group.

@hopefulstanford They’re most likely joking…the atmosphere of the Facebook group is generally lighthearted (which can be a good thing if college is stressing you out, but some of the posts are just dumb.)

They could’ve also been matched through Questbridge, which releases its results earlier.

Stanford confirmed via its admissions blog that decisions will be released on December 12 (tomorrow :-S ) at 3:00 PST.
