Sitting in school on the East Cost, the wait is killing me!

@rmk123 Same, I haven’t been able to focus on anything all day. Thankfully the school day’s almost over.

Yeah, being on the East coast stinks because we have to “wait longer”

Oh man, 4 hours away. Every email notification is making me jittery.

I changed my email settings so I can’t read the first few sentences of the email. That way I don’t accidentally see my decision before I open the email.

Does anyone know if they send emails out in alphabetical order over time? because my last name starts with “W” so…

@RobBarker most schools send them all out at the same time I believe. Most people have gotten their emails exactly on the hour.

yes if it " take hours to send out " then in what order? acceptances first? alphabetical?

What I’m fearing most now is that I wont get my decision today and I will have to agonize over throughout the weekend right before finals… it would NOT be fun to know that you were not accepted first thing Monday on finals week!

I only applied to
Stanford
Brigham Young University Provo
University of Central Florida

I was already accepted to UCF with a full ride so that’s my absolute last resort
BYU I know I’ll get into and they called and told me they’d give me a full ride so I’ll most likely end up going there.
Stanford I really don’t think I’d get into so I’m just gonna end up at BYU.

Congrats on the full rides! I’m hoping for full rides at UMN and UVA, but I doubt I’ll get them.

@smartcookie333 it likely won’t take hours. They just include that to help prevent applicants from furiously trying to contact them if they don’t have their decision within minutes. Don’t worry about it - your decision will come!

@KMizzle thanks! But UCF isn’t really a great school, they accept pretty much anyone and it isn’t that hard to get a full ride.

@KMizzle (in order of preference)

UC Berkeley
Carnegie Mellon
MIT
Princeton
UT Austin (Already accepted, safety school)

I am currently sitting in class after taking my CISCO final and I am seriously shaking so hard I’m so nervous. But hey, if any of us don’t get in, that just means Stanford wasn’t the right fit. I’m sure that whichever schools you guys get into, it will be the best fit and you will be happy to go there! Of course rejection hurts, but we all have to move on at some point! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!! 3 MORE HOURS!!

t-3 hours!!!

Listening to music helps calm me down a lot, especially One Republic’s songs. So delightful.

Still waiting…
Gonna be really tempted to read the email before school gets out. My schools out 3:30 PM PST :(

@digony
I think you have MORE than enough. I only applied to 3 schools.

And I have friends who only applied to 1.

:)
