Here we go guys! Starting this early…
Do we know if supplemental essay prompts will be the same this year?
It will most likely stay mostly the same, like the roommate question or the what matters to you (and the recently added why)
how is everyone’s application coming!
@moosestanford stress ahhhh only two months!!!
I low key don’t regret not choosing REA…I’m only applying for the heck of it, no burning passion or anything.
.
Does Stanford do likely letters ? What even are those ?
Stanford has done them in the past: unsure if they still do. According to the Stanford Daily, “they are to notify students ‘who have truly exceptional academic, artistic or athletic talent’ of the likelihood of their admission.”

For those applying REA w/ live audition, have you received an audition time yet?
Applying REA to Stanford guys! Really hope I get in as it’s my dream school. Haven’t started on many of those pesky supplemental essays though
Same! You should definitely start.
Do you have to send official score reports? Im very confused
If I’m applying to Stanford, but not to a math or science program, will sending in a 730 Math 2 score hurt my application?
And @jmaynard112 , the admissions website says they accept self-reported or official scores. (Found here: https://admission.stanford.edu/apply/freshman/testing.html )
@drumminggeek87 Assuming past applicants’ performance on the subject test was similar to the SAT I test(I couldn’t find subject test distributions), a 730 is within the middle 50% scores for the Class of 2022. I would say you’re fine.

Finally submitted my app just now, theres a somewhat sense of relief :’)
Would appreciate any help on this: Stanford allows score choice and superscoring this year, correct? So filling out the common app testing section would be sufficient–no further action on my part is needed?
@undone Yes, just fill out the Common App testing section and you are good
Does anyone know when we’ll be receiving our student portal after submitting our application?
@slumbermachine Usually it’s a few days after I believe.
