I was wondering, do they have guaranteed scholarships to those whoever are accepted into the program? If so, how much? Thanks in advance.

Bumperz! :X

Are you talking about their summer programs for high school students? If so, my niece attended the Columbia summer program and paid the program fee. Honestly, your best bet is to check their web site for that info or just call them to find out.

Well I did check both websites, and Columbia mentioned nothing about financial aid. Stanford did mention that there was financial aid based on need, but I was wondering if there was a decent guarantee/amount to it, since I’d rather not apply and find out that I won’t be able to pay for it. It would be worse than being flat out rejected.

I would just call and ask each college their scholarship policies and guidelines before you apply. When we looked at summer programs every college had very different criteria, many of them did not offer any type of aid while a few others offered 100% for “qualified” students. Unfortunately there was no criteria for “qualified”.

I see. Sorry to be a drag, but do you happen to remember any of the colleges that offered good financial aid for “qualified” students?
