Stanford CS Graduate School with EE degree

<p>Hey guys. I am a UCLA undergraduate student majoring EE. I am in my process of applying for graduate school now. My question is: would it be disadvantageous for me to apply for CS department at Stanford with a EE degree? Is it safer to apply for EE department instead.
In fact, I choose computer engineering as my EE pathway at UCLA (but it seems it is not reflected on my diploma) and most of my experience outside school (interns) are software engineering. And I do have EE experience in undergraduate research for one year. My research interest is speech processing and machine learning, which are at the boundary between EE and CS. </p>

<p>That sounds like you have a very appropriate resume. Stanford doesn’t require you be CS undergrad. They will see your transcripts for your coursework, but it is considered appropriate to have a ‘relevant coursework’ section on your CV to highlight your track.</p>
