I’m applying as a pre-med undergraduate for the summer programs that Stanford’s offering, the Clinical Anatomy and Cardiothoracic Skills programs. Does anyone know how selective these 2 programs are?
I have good stats actually (3.875 GPA), and I’m a sophomore at one of the LAC on the “CC Top Liberal Arts Colleges” list. My reccs will probably be decent. I’m just kind of worried if Stanford’s summer programs are as insanely competitive as their undergrad lol
I attended as a rising high school junior and I would say its pretty competitive, but not nearly as bad as Stanford undergrad.I heard it’s around 15% acceptance and I think you have a good shot because there were only two undergrads when I went, suggesting that not many apply.

Sorry for the late reply! Didn’t see this until now.
Thank you for the insight! c:
Although it could also be that only 2 undergrads got in and a lot were rejected, I’ll just have to see as decisions come out.
That’s true, but to be honest the undergrads that were there weren’t anything special. I know that it wasn’t possible for me to hear their whole list of accomplishments, but from what we talked about, they seemed like average college students with ~3.3 GPA and interest in medicine.
Hey, I will be attending this year. I am currently a sophomore in high school and I wanted to see how many people on here know anything about the program. It would be nice to get to know some of the people that are going this summer.
