Stanford EA or Princeton ED?

<p>Stanford and Princeton are my top two schools, and are exactly equal in terms of where I would want to go. I am planning to major in economics and minor in linguistics. I know that getting into Stanford EA is supposedly more difficult than RD. I would love to apply EA, but I'm not sure if I could get in. I hear that applying to Princeton ED would give me a considerable bit of leverage in the admissions process. Here are my stats so far:</p>

<p>pacific islander female from a competitive southern california public school
4.0 UW GPA (4.75 W)
32 ACT (planning to retake)
800 SAT II History
710 Math IIC (planning to retake, expecting a 750+)</p>

<p>APs:
European History - 3 (taken as a sophomore)
Comparative Government - 4(taken as a sophomore)
English Comp - 4
US History - 5
US Government - 5
Environmental Science - 5
Calculus AB - 5</p>

<p>ECs:
Been dancing competitively for 13 years; have many awards
400+ hours of volunteer work with a literacy program based in day care centers
20hrs/wk internship with an entertainment corporation @ which I am involved in marketing; we are producing a show that will be aired nationally in the fall (very good rec letter here)
treasurer of democratic club
President of Peer-Assisted Listeners Association in school
NHS member
CSF member
probably more things that I'm forgetting</p>

<p>Awards and Recognition:
Brown University Book Award
Junior Class Nominee For the Entrepreneurial Women's International Scholarship Program
AP Scholar with Distinction
Department-wide Excellence in: AP English, AP Calculus, AP European History, AP US History, Honors English 9, Honors Algebra II/Trig, Spanish, etc.
Filipino-American Association's Outstanding Student award
again, i'm probably forgetting some</p>

<p>Essays: very good, I had cancer as a freshmen, so I'm going to write how my passion and determine for dance didn't let cancer get in my way, and just kept on dancing</p>

<p>Letters: great</p>

<p>Senior Year Schedule:
AP Economics
AP Spanish Language
Honors Physics
AP English Lit
AP Psychology (for fun!)
AP Calculus BC</p>

<p>That said, which would be my better option, and give me the greatest chance of getting admitted to either school? I'm slightly leaning toward Stanford mainly for its location, but I don't want to risk my chances at both schools just for nice weather. So Stanford EA or Princeton ED?</p>

<p>Stanford EA is certainly easier than RD, but it remains harder than Princeton ED. </p>

<p>You have a reasonable chance at both but going ED to Princeton gives you a slightly higher chance of admission.</p>

<p>Go Stanford. California is much nicer than some garden state and who likes gothic architecture anyway? Lol j/p. Seriously though, I'd go with Stanford, great in every area and down to Earth as well. Beautiful campus and really cool students.</p>
