hey i submitted my early action application before the deadline, but i was wondering that Stanford would have no idea about my parents income. Was there some sort of a financial application(FAFSA) that we were supposed to fill out too for early action?

bump bump bump can anyone answer this question?

when you apply early, there is no option for financial aid

Their website has all of this info, so I suggest you visit there to clear up your doubts. Also, from what I know, for early action, the CSS Profile (submitted through College Board) is due by Nov 15th. I think FAFSA is due in February or something, not sure though, check the website.

I, too had questions on the deadline, so I called and was told the deadline to submit the CSS profile is indeed 11/15. I also asked that if a student's family was ineligible for need based aid from Stanford, was it still necessary to submit the CSS profile. I was told no.

yes, you MUST submit the CSS profile by 11/15 in order to get aid.

And what about the FAFSA?

I’m really sorry to resurrect this thread but would I just submit tax info from 2012 then?

FAFSA deadline should be Mar 1, but it may be Feb 15. I only found the time table for last year. The funny thing is they have FAFSA submission deadline on 2/15 for RD but 3/1 for REA. For CSS, I guess one have to submit 2012 tax return info. For FAFSA, it should be 2013 if it is available.

I recall reading somewhere that estimates of one’s 2013 amounts would suffice for FAFSA and CSS. Either way, you’ll have to send your parents’ W2 forms for 2013.

Perhaps you should contact the financial aid office.
