STANFORD! Essays

Hey guys,

So I was wondering whether anyone would be willing to read my Why Stanford? Essay, and tell me if it is specific enough and clearly demonstrates why I want to go there. And also, my (three) different variations of the Intellectual Vitality Essay (too many options!). If you want to give me ideas/tips for a Roommate Essay, feel free. I've done mine but I don't think I'm quite happy with it yet. What do you think about briefly introducing myself then including a "fun fact" list with 15 or so interesting/quirky/unique things about me. Could I pull that off?

PM me if you want to help with my essays! Please, don't be applying this year since I don't want any ideas taken :P (not that I think you guys would do that - always better to be safe than sorry, I guess).

I’m not entirely sure as to what to write for the “Why Stanford?” essay. How does one tackle a question like that without being too unspecific? Should I write about how warm and fuzzy the architecture of the campus makes me feel inside or what…?

Haha well i know i talked about how specifically Stanford would foster my education. My views on what i want my learning environment to be, and also other specific things. How I would contribute to Stanford - meaning clubs, ECs, etc., and what makes them different (cough, better) than all the other schools I’m looking at.

I’ll read your essay(s) :)
