<p>I'm a student at an east ivy working in Palo Alto this summer, about 10 min from Stanford. What's the life like in the summertime? Is the campus still active with events open to the public? Any parties I can crash? Finally found some reasonable housing ('reasonable' as in <1000/month); sucks that you have to be an affiliate to sublet grad housing.</p>

<p>So how was summer in Palo Alto? I’m gonna be there this summer and I too am from an East Ivy. Hoping the parties are open and looking for a place to live.</p>
<p>no big parties, but Mirrielees (one of the few dorms open) will always have something going on. if you just roam the halls, you’ll find something.</p>
<p>Campus will pretty much be overrun my middle school and high school camps.</p>
