Hi guys.
Can someone please tell me what are my chances of getting to Stanford MBA program (I’m also considering UCLA and USC).
I am currently a junior at LMU with a GPA of 3.65 (I wanna bring it up to 3.8) (double Finance and Econ major). I play rugby in a club team. Probably will join the Finance society. Working on campus part time.
(This is the part where i distinguish myself [hopefully]) I was born in Chicago to immigrant (polish) parents who moved back to Poland when I was 1 year old. I grew up in Poland (so my first language is polish) and moved back to Chicago when I was 18 did one year of community college (getting all A’s) and then transferred to LMU.
I want to apply for those schools with 2 year experience (not counting internships) either in Banking or working for Chevron in Financial services.
Because english is not my first language most likely my GMAT score won’t be as impressive.
So here is my question- Do i stand a chance of getting into Stanford (my ultimate goal is to move back to Poland and become the Finance Minister (even though it may seem unrealistic).
Also, what would the financial aid (grants and fellowships) be for someone really poor at those institutions?
