Stanford OHS

Thought I would share. D opened her acceptance letter yesterday. Exciting. Now for the decision. Much to go over. Only a week to decide.

TF

Terrific news, TigerFree! Hope it works out well for your D.

thanks, sbjdorlo. Just trying to figure out the preliminary logistics of maintaining both worlds. Any doubts are erased when I review the coursework for the next two years and beyond. Incredible.

Wow, any insights on how this was achieved? Did she have an exceptional passion for something? Forgive me for being curious.

She has been doing EPGY since second grade. Nothing intense, just a slow and steady dose. She is pretty solid. She has been an A/A+ student all her life, though take elementary school grades with a grain of salt. She has been happy and popular with peers and teachers alike. She is a good athlete and competitive and has decent accomplishments thus far. Finally she scored well on the SSAT, 98th pctle overall.

But I think one of the best aspects of her file is the fit between the what the school offers and her wants and her needs for flexibility.
