Stanford or Claremont Mckenna possible or not likely

<p>After reading so many amazing scores and GPS' to say nothing of EC's I am thinking that I have no chance at My #1 choice Stanford or Claremont Mckenna..</p>

<p>Please... any opinions? </p>

AP scores = US History 4; Eng Lang 4; Calculus 5; Physics 5
Plus other honors and JC Spanish trig & calc</p>

<p>You have a shot at CMC, but Stanford's unlikely. Nothing really unique, no passion, no focus...</p>

<p>CMC places an even bigger focus on passion and leadership. Without either of those, you don't really have a shot at CMC. To get into that school, you need to excel in what your EC's. Unfortunately, I don't really see that on your transcript.</p>

<p>It's nothing to be ashamed of though If you don't get in. Some of my friends that work in the admissions office have told me the admission rate this year was only 15%.</p>

<p>I think with those scores and grades you have a shot. You will probably have to write a heck of an essay set to show how much you want to go to either one.</p>
