Stanford or Wharton?

Hello! I'm from Croatia and here Stanford "sounds" better than Wharton. Considering you guys are Americans and know better these universities, which would you choose for a business major?

Well i'm not american but...
Stanford doesn't have undergraduate business so you have to choose wharton. For grad school, they are both ranked #2 this year (new ranking from usnews). But wharton is always #1 for finance.

I'll have to choose Stanford since i'm waitlisted from Wharton. I think i'm dropping off the waitlist because I don't want to go there any more.
You can choose Stanford and then do business later. But.. both are excellent schools.

the best business school in the nation is wharton....if that's what you want to do, then choose wharton....

(i personally would choose stanford though :D)

Stanford doesn't have a major for undergrad business (they might have a minor though i'm not sure). So if you want business go to Wharton without a doubt.

word is that if you want an MBA its better not to go with an undergrad business degree. (been asking princeton professor, wharton MBA, etc) In fact my penn interviewer (an engineering major) got an MBA from wharton. the trend for business school is that business majors have nothing real special to offer. you would be going to grad school and learning the same things. so in light of all of that, i would tell you to go to Stanford, because it will be easier to get a reputable MBA after doing stanford undergrad. this is why most of the elite schools do not have an undergraduate business program (harvard, stanford, yale, princeton, etc)

^ oh wow reallY??? i did not know that. If that's the case, then I should change my advice. Go to stanford and do engineering or something but not business. That is if you want an MBA more than a business undergrad degree

Stanford has a major called Management Science and Engineering that many students interested in business major in. Check it out on the website.

This is a nice question...
What does an ug business degree differs from an MBA?
Will you just lose time and money taking both?
