How did you get a 4.0 in your junior year if you got two A-'s?

I am literally blown away by your resume. I think you have a considerably high chance of getting into Stanford as well as the rest of your choice colleges. Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/816473-chance-aa-female-elite-schools-updated-stats.html <–Include Yale also!

I had similar stats as you (except 4.0 UW all the way through high school) and was rejected by Stanford SCEA. Yet, it seems that many other kids with lower stats got into Stanford, which stinks. They just seem so unpredicatable. Write good essays. That’s your best bet. Good luck. We have 8 colleges in common. =)

Lol at all of the people giving OP a 50+% chance of getting into some of the Ivy’s.

good luck! your stats are fantastic. and your summer studies make up for your ECs. they’re a little bit scattered and pretty standard.

I think on your list, that after Yale you could get into any of those colleges.

The ones before and including Yale are never “matches”, but I think you would be qualified at any of them nonetheless.

Good luck!

I’m sorry, but you have stats of a typical HYP hopeful (read reject). Whatever happened to winning stuff?

The reaches are always reaches, including stanford.

Not chancing, but just wanted to say:
- The world needs more female engineers.
- Literary-magazine wise, the Hanging Loose Press is very supportive of high school writers ( they’re not exclusively a student litmag), and the Claremont Review is geared towards high-schoolers but publishes some of the best stuff out there. If they’re not on your radar…

HYPS- reach for everyone, I bet you’ll get into one.
Penn, Dartmouth-low reach
