I recently got a letter about the Stanford Summer Camp in the mail. After looking up its website, the application process seemed like a lot of work as it was pretty much a mini-college app. If anyone ever took part in this program, could you please explain your views on it?

Thanks for the feedback
I guess i should specify my question: would the program increase chances of getting in (ie would there be times during the program ot get to meet admin officers) to Stanford. After all, it costs upwards of 10k and consumes the whole summer.

Two kids at my school did it. They both had top notch stats and were both REJECTED in SCEA. I'm pretty sure somewhere Stanford says it doesn't help your chances applying to the undergraduate program, and from what I've seen, it's true.

I went there last summer. No, he doesn't mean EPGY.

I think 11 people from the 310 people in the program got in EA. It's a fun way to spend your time, you probably won't learn much academically, but it's fun. You'll meet people.

And it won't help you to get into Stanford for college.
