I would say in at USC but Stanford admits like 2% I think so apply but realize its tough

You should also have continued to do well in your Syracuse courses. But based off your high school record, I think in at USC. :)

How many credits/classes completed after the first year ?

ill have 30 by the end of freshman yr

are there any other schools that i could apply to and have decent chances with my stats?
HS:
GPA: opps i meant 4.0 W. my hs gpa was 3.6UW

I would say you have stats that are fine for almost anywhere you want. The exceptions are schools with super low acceptance rates (I.E. HYPSM).

In case you or the OP didn't know but P doesn't offer transfer admission.

okkay so i came up with my final list!
dartmouth
harvard
stanford
usc
cornell
duke

how does my chances look??

Your list looks good.

You have a really good chance at Cornell/USC, a reasonable chance at duke and dartmouth and well harvard and stanford is impossible for most transfer which is especially true of stanford.

sorry, i changed my list again, but this time im certain!!

stanford
uchicago
duke
northwestern
usc
cornell

is this a more realistic list?

I would say your new list is realistic. Chicago places a lot of emphasis on your essays so ace those. I would also look into a few liberal arts colleges if you're looking for more academic rigor. Is there anything in particular you want out of your transfer college that you're not getting at Syracuse?

As a warning, it's very difficult to transfer into Duke. It overenrolled the last two years, and housing is so tight they're letting juniors live off campus. I don't know last year's numbers, but they admitted 10 transfers two years ago.

I was aware of that but I just typed out the standard list without thinking. Sorry

ur in USC but Stanford 50/50

ive just been invited to join the honors program here at syracuse. would joining the program better my transfer chances??

i think you are in for usc.

but stanford transfer admission is a completely different animal. they take very few each year. i know three people with similar GPA as yours but at much higher ranked schools getting rejected.

Can I ask a question? Do you need FA? I think this is a pretty important factor when you apply to Stanford.

i wont b needing FA. would this significantly increase my chances?

the 3 people that i referred to earlier didn't apply for FA.
