Stanford vs Ivy Schools

Which one is easier to get into with an average gpa and sat and amazing extracurriculars? (excluding HYP)

From experience, I feel like Stanford tends to accept students based on their special talents over ivys, and is more forgiving on GPA and SAT.
I know Stanford’s acceptance rate is really low because more people who aren’t as qualified still apply / vice versa for ivys. I’ve seen some people get into Stanford with amazing extracurriculars and a 3.5 but they still get rejected from Dartmouth and every other ivy.

Neither.

You don’t know that; there is no empirical evidence to support.

None of them is easy to get into. You need some realistic options.

You need a high GPA, high test scores AND amazing GPAs to get into Stanford. Do you have safeties on your list @FiddleMySticks ?

Also adcoms can detect desperation very easily in an application.

3.5 GPA - only with a big hook (i.e., running back!!).
