STANFORD vs PENN for economics

Hey so I'd like to know what all you cc-ers think about this, title says it all... for undergraduate, will be studying economics but havent entirely made up my mind, so other things im considering include business or economics WITH political science... so I want to know the advantages and disadvantages... Im an international student and things like location, student life, how well is their economics program and dorms and stuff are the aspects that Im considering to base my decision on... so I need your help, and im also doing this on the UPenn discussion just to get a fair deal out of it since ppl on the stanford room tend to pick stanford and vice versa, alright thanks

and i also have a week to decide, so this is urgent lol!

I assume you were picked off the waitlist. Congratulations!

As for your choice it’s about taste. Do you like California weather or are you happy with Philly weather?

Upenn, college or Wharton? Upenn has great economics department while Stanford has a great entrepreneurial department. If I would be to choose I would take Stanford, but that’s based on my own preference and not just not because we are in the Stanford board (I would have said the same in the Upenn board).

If you’re going into business or economics, Upenn is by far one of the best! But you really can’t go wrong with either schools…so now it just depends where you think you would feel most comfortable.

I hope that that’s true for Penn College of Arts and Science and Stanford as well. I’m interested in romance languages and law and I really can’t see why Stanford would be better for those fields than Penn
