<p>Yep. I don't know the specifics, but I feel like I see plenty of fliers for speeches, clubs and initiatives on that subject.</p>
<p>As for what it's like within the department itself, again I don't know, but my educated guess would be that there's serious efforts to address things like sustainability both internally (i.e. on campus) and externally.</p>
<p>I want to major in environmental engineering at Stanford if I get in. haha...</p>
<p>All I know is that Stanford is probably the best place in the world for Environmental Engineering.</p>
