<p>there's none within walking distance, but there's one in the american tobacco complex which is a really short drive from campus, and one slightly further down on 15-501 near the walmart in new hope commons.</p>

<p>Ahhh that's one thing that's been really frustrating for me...not having Starbucks within 3 seconds of my house.</p>
<p>The closest is probably American Tobacco (especially to East Campus) but it is in Durham (albeit a pretty nice plaza), but if I were working I'd prefer the one off 15-501. It's about a 10 minute drive from campus, depending on how many lights you hit. (You can also take the back way down Erwin Rd. which is probably about the same distance without the annoyance of 15-501)</p>
<p>There is also a Starbucks in Chapel Hill, so it's easy to take the Robertson bus over, but I'd imagine this would be frustrating to deal with on a regular basis.</p>
<p>I used the online locator but its hard when I have never been to get feel for specific location</p>
<p>I'm not sure I would have a car, and if I do I would have to work a ton to even pay for it but I may not be able to do that (immediately)</p>

<p>If you're not going to have a car -- then look at the one on Franklin Street since you can take the Robertson to get there.</p>
<p>My daughter goes to Duke and I swear she said recently there was a Starbucks going into the Bryan Center soon. Also, there is that nice coffee cafe in the Vanderheydon Pav...</p>
<p>It was talked about, but there were space problems so unfortunately I think that plan has been nixed in favor of one or two different vendors coming to campus.</p>
