<p>A few weeks ago I got really interested in Habitat for Humanity after doing some volunteer work, and it just came to me right now that I could start a high school chapter. I realized though that making a club right now when club apps were due next week was kind of rushed, and I would never be able to set it up or find an adviser that fast. So I decided to make the chapter during senior year. However I am currently a junior and my club section for my college apps seemed bare so I got worried and I joined some of my friends clubs last week. Would creating a club senior year make it look like I'm creating the club for the presidential title or would it be okay? My friend mentioned the possible misunderstanding that could happen.</p>
<p>Joining some of your friends’ clubs junior year looks just as bad. College knows what resume ladders are. You’ll stand out from the rest if you skip out on clubs and excel at one or two activities you truly enjoy.</p>
