Starting an College Advice site for students at my HS. Any help/input appreciated!

I've been on CC for the past 2 or 3 years (well, lurked for 1, member for 2). I must admit, even among all the whiners and the sincere overacheivers, that this has been one of the most helpful college websites I've ever been on. I guess that's the reason I've stayed here for so long. You've been with me even before I started even thinking about college choices, and now here I am, having already sent in my SIR, and I need some way to thank you. Now here it is - Thank You.

I want to be able to help my peers by starting an unofficial "Guide to College/Admissions Process" website, more focused on the students in my high school. It's going to include stories, experiences, and advice from my classmates, past alumni, and other related people in my community.

Please, ANY INPUT would be appreciated!! I'm asking for any general ideas and advice for starting the admissions process and how to get through it without going crazy. I'm looking for any advice ranging from SAT's to Ivy Leagues to choosing majors, etc. I guess I'm trying to condense every repeated question on this forum into a website. :D

Advice on...
Early Decsion vs. Regular Decision
When to start SAT's?

The reason I'm asking you all is that I want advice from students going through or have gone through this process. I think it is more accurate, more real, and more on our level.

No, I'm not trying to direct traffic from CC. No, I'm not a spammer. You can look at my history and see that I've been here for YEARS. I'm just trying to give back where help is needed.

Thanks!
