<p>I was just wondering, as this might be me. What is your opinion of someone who's starting college at 20/21? Is it that bad? Especially if the person intends on going to grad school after graduating. I dread the idea of leaving school when I'm 30+. :</p>
<p>There is absolutely nothing wrong with this. In fact, I often wonder if college is sometimes wasted on the 18-year old. i find that students who are a bit more mature are very highly motivated, know how to concentrate and appreciate the opportunities they have in college.</p>
<p>As for graduate school, I wouldn’t worry too much. Lots of students finish their Ph.D. after the age of 30 for various reasons.</p>
<p>It is never too late to go back. I started college at the age of 40 years old. I obtained my B.S. in Criminal Justice from Mercer University this past May 2011. I am now 45 years old. And I am in graduate school now at Kaplan University. Im presently enrolled in the Masters of Science in Legal Studies.
I have enjoyed my return to school from day one. I think going back at a much older age is more acceptable and manageable. Going back as a professional adult I was more focus on getting my work. My grades was much better compared to being in high school.</p>
