Starting college in the spring?

I have decided to take the early college route by getting a GED (do not want to do dual enrollment0 and going to the local CC. But I need to study for awhile for the test so I don’t think I will be ready for fall semester when college starts again. Has anyone here enrolled in Spring? Is it any different than enrolling in the Fall? And any tips for someone starting college? I’m going in for a computer/engineering major and am hoping to transfer to NCSU or a similar school

If you are planning to start at your local CC, and then transfer, it doesn’t matter much when you start at the CC.

If however, you need significant financial aid, then it is best to graduate from high school rather than earning a GED, and plan to apply as a freshman applicant for the fall semester at your target colleges and universities.

Im starting at Boston University as a freshman in the spring semester. I applied for fall but got accepted into spring. I don’t think its that much different than fall you just start later

CC populations are very fluid and don’t really have the concept of a class and starting with a class. Non issue.
