I’m bilingual, a Latina with Mexican heritage and I go to a majority-white underfunded high school. I’m a student athlete and scholar, and my culture is very important to me, so I’m looking to start a chapter of National Spanish Honor Society, and possibly some other hispanic and latino organizations at my school. any advice or suggestions?

You need to find a faculty sponsor and read through the rules. There is a lot of paperwork involved so make sure you work well with your principal.
