<p>Math/science olympiads. Just looking at the problems makes me want to cry.</p>

<p>Colleges will look very hard at what exactly you did as a member or leader of something, so just listing something like “President of NHS” and hating it won’t help at all.</p>
<p>HOSA , FBLA, AIME</p>
<p>What would u guys say is the best method for getting involved in these things? Obv for HOSA, FBLA, Quiz Bowl, etc. you have to be in the club, but do I ask teachers for competitions, or what?</p>

<p>Go to some of the club meetings for that extracurricular to see what they do. If the competitions/events interest you, then why not join? </p>
<p>If you want to do a competition/event or create an organization not offered at your school, approach some of the administrators about it and start advertising.</p>
