Statistics at Community College?

Hi there. I need to make a decision soon or whether or not I should take statistics at my local community college this upcoming spring. I am a freshman right now taking pre-calc. Next year I plan on taking AP Calculus and the year after Statistics. (No Calculus BC at my school.) I have a few questions here regarding me taking it at a community college:

  • Do colleges (especially UCs) not like it when you don't dedicate a year towards a class?
  • As is, I have no math in my senior year. Will an even larger gap of no math do anything? (I plan on majoring in something mathematics related.)
  • Is it not worth it? What would you personally do?

Thank you! Please answer as thoroughly as you can!
