<p>I'm split between choosing to major in Business (accounting) or Economics so I guess I'll apply for both and see what happens. Both require a lot of the same classes compared to each other but I am wondering about the Statistics Requirement in particular. Business prefers Qmeth201 and also accepts Stat311 but Economics only takes Stat311. Should I just take Stat311 to satisfy the Statistics Requirement for both majors or should I take both classes?</p>

<p>Just do Stat 311. Why take two courses when taking one will prepare you just the same?</p>

<p>It doesn’t really matter what they prefer. I’m taking Stat 390 to fulfill business and I’m learning way more than my friends in 201. I’m sure 311 > 201 as well.</p>
